What We Accept in Our Steel Pile and
How to Prepare It
Our steel pile
- White Goods
- Household appliances (washers, dryers, etc.)
- Refrigerators and window air conditioners (must have compressors removed)
- Hot water heaters
- Tin
- Sheet Metal
- Cars
- First review our Vehicle Requirements then contact us regarding preparing automobiles prior to bringing one in.
- Light
- Fencing (no wood or brush attached)
- Propane tanks (with valves removed)
- Wire
- Steel 1/8’ thickness or less
- Rolled sheet metal
- Mowers
- Torched Steel
- Steel items we have to cut up with a torch that cannot be cut with our shear.
- Loaders, dozers, forklifts, most heavy equipment.
- Some I beams
- Mixed Loads
- Heavy with light steel together in one load
- Heavy
- Most farm machinery
- Bigger pieces of steel that are so oversized that they have to be cut with our shear
- #1 Prepared
- 5’ x 18” wide with a 1/4“ or greater thickness
- Car wheels (steel)
- Rebar cut into 5’ pieces or shorter

You must have a CURRENT government issued ID in order to sell us anything (other than aluminum cans)
