Pricing:

Due to constant market fluctuations, Wise Services & Recycling does not post its prices online, nor do we give out price sheets. Please contact us at (540)825-0996 for current market prices.

Wise Services & Recycling understands that the currect state of the world economy has greatly affected the price of scrap metals today. Wise Services is dedicated to providing our customers with competitive pricing reflective of fair market values. Please continue to bear with us as we all endure the tough road ahead. As the world-wide economy recuperates, we hope to see scrap prices recover. Until then, we appreciate your understanding and continuing business with our company.

Accepted Materials:

Wise Services and Recycling currently accepts the following for cash:

  • Copper
  • Brass
  • Stainless Steel
  • Cast Aluminum
  • Radiators
  • Transmissions
  • Electric Motors
  • Computer Hard-drives
  • Steel & Iron
  • Catalytic Convertors
  • Batteries
  • Automobiles

This list is not exhaustive. This is merely a list of the most common items we buy on a daily basis. If you have an item in question please feel free to contact us for pricing and identification of your item.

**REGARDING AUTOMOBILES, MOWERS, TANKS, BARRELS, AND ANY OTHER ITEM WHICH MAY HAVE CONTAINED OIL OR GASOLINE:

Wise Services & Recycling will not accept any of the above items (automobiles, mowers, tanks, barrels, etc) unless they have been prepared in the following manner:

For Automobiles:

All fluids MUST be removed from the vehicle.
The gas tank must have a hole in it and all gas drained.
If the vehicle is an automatic, transmission fluid must be drained.
The oil plug must be removed and all oil drained.
There must be no fluid in the radiator.
The battery should be removed. (we will purchase back)
Ideally, tires should be removed before coming on site. However, you may remove your tires here. If you leave your vehicle with the tires on, you will be charged a $4 per tire tire disposal fee.

Mowers:

Riding mowers must have all oil, gas and batteries removed. Push mowers must have all gas and oil removed.

Tanks, Barrels etc:

All tanks and barrels must contain holes large enough for our employees to determine that no gas, oil or other hazardous substances remain inside.

Please note: If the customer brings in items which are not prepared to the above standards, Wise Services and Recycling reserves the right to refuse the load until said items are prepared properly. Furthermore, Wise Services & Recycling has a deep commitment to the environment and encourages its customers to properly drain and dispose of all waste oils and gasoline according to current environmental law.
